La Fête du Nautisme 2025: two weekends on Lake Geneva!

The Nautical Festival drops anchor in Sciez-sur-Léman on May 17 and 18, then heads to Thonon-les-Bains on May 24 and 25, 2025. Two weekends to discover—or rediscover—water sports and lake activities in a fun and friendly atmosphere!

On the agenda: introductions to sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and diving. Explore the lake in all its forms, with hands-on activities, exhibitions, and moments of relaxation. In Sciez, join us at the port/beach area—then head to Thonon at the Port of Rives the following weekend.

But above all, it’s a chance to enjoy the lake differently: try something new, meet local associations, or simply spend a great time by the water with family and friends.

Sciez-sur-Léman – May 17th and 18th, 2025

First stop of Faites du Nautisme: Sciez-sur-Léman welcomes you to the port/beach area for a weekend of activities, water sports discoveries, and festive moments by the lake.

Here’s the weekend program:

Saturday, May 17th

All day: Discover the Wiziboat system
10 AM–5 PM: Open doors at the rescue center + 3-rower challenge
2 PM–5 PM: Sailing cruises (registration at the harbor master’s office)
5 PM–8 PM: Neighborhood Olympics
8 PM: Pirate rock concert Rhumlake (beach, bar on-site)

Sunday, May 18th

8 AM–4 PM: Fishing trip (registration at the harbor master’s office)
10 AM: “Women at the Helm” regatta (CNS)
10 AM–5 PM: Sailing & rowing lessons (Nautical Base)
10 AM–5 PM: Photo & sailors exhibition, nautical flea market
10 AM, 11 AM, 3 PM, 4 PM: Discovery cruises (Léman Loisirs)
9:30 AM–12 PM & 2 PM–4:30 PM: Scuba diving trials (Axolotl)
11 AM & 3 PM: Canine rescue (Léman Aquatique)
11 AM–5 PM: Windsurfing initiation (registration required)
1 PM–5 PM: First aid and rescue demonstrations
2 PM–5 PM: Water skiing initiation (reservations at 06 07 72 59 16)

Thonon-les-Bains – May 24th and 25th, 2025

Second stop of Faites du Nautisme: heading to Thonon-les-Bains, at the Rives port, for a weekend full of water sports discoveries and festive activities.

The whole weekend program includes: sailing, diving, e-foil, and e-surf trials, painting workshops, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, rowing, boat trips, rescue demonstrations, an art exhibition, parrot shows, and activities around waste reduction.

Friday, May 23rd:

7 PM: Conference “Crossed Perspectives”

Saturday, May 24th:

11 AM: Inauguration of the watchtowers at the Fishing and Lake Museum
12 PM: Inauguration of the Nautical Festival in front of the harbor master’s office
1:00 PM–4:30 PM: Underwater Hockey demo and diving trials
11:15 AM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM: Juggling show

Sunday, May 25th:

10 AM–12 PM: Guided tour of Rives, departure from the top of the Funicular
11:15 AM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM: Theater play and puppetry
1:30 PM: Newfoundland dog demonstration
