Situated on the edge of the Spa Park, along Avenue du Général de Gaulle and nicknamed the «mushroom» because of its shape, this fountain was built in 1937 by Louis Moynat.

This public fountain allows the inhabitants of Thonon to take advantage of the benefits of the Versoie waters.

The benefits of Thonon water Clear still water, with a low mineral content, Thonon water is rich in calcium bicarbonate and magnesium, which are particularly diuretic. The Versoie Spring was declared of Public Interest and its use was authorised in June 1864 and was declared of interest to Public Health by the Academy of Medicine in 1890.
