Water sports fair 2011

For its seventh edition, the water sports fair celebrates its four stars! Old and young alike, could discover various activities during these two days...

This national event has existed for 10 years and takes place in mid-May. The festival aims to give sailing activities a wider audience. Thonon’s organisation stands out and sets the benchmark for its scope and rich schedule.

Exhibitions of postcards about the history of Thonon-les-Bains, Malgash market, initiations and demonstrations of water sports...there were a lot of activities during these two days along the lake or in the lake!

Moreover, it was possible to discover the pleasure of sailing on the lake thanks to the boat "la Savoie".

Le Ruban Bleu

Since three years, during the water sports fair, people can attend to the challenge named "le ruban bleu". It's the crossing in a rowing boat of the Lake Geneva, from Lausanne to Thonon.
