This religious structure was completed at the beginning of the 20th century. Maurice Denis painted his last murals here and the basilica is all the more interesting for them. The Baroque St-Hippolyte church adjoins the structure.

Thonon’s oldest church dates back to the 12th century and has been redone and restored several times. The only original feature is its crypt. The church is now one of the best examples of the Baroque style in the Haute-Savoie area!

This monastery was built in the 30s by Maurice Novarinat and houses nuns from the Order of the Visitation.

This 17th century monastery with ribbed vaults is an example of late Gothic architecture. According to legend, the monastery’s layout was designed by Saint Jeanne de Chantal.

The church was built by Maurice Novarina in 1935 on Vongy’s Place de l’Eglise. It has a huge mosaic of Notre Dame du Léman and a traditional boat with two sails.
