Thonon-les-Bains has been awarded the France Station Nautique and is one of this group’s 36 seaside destinations. Its facilities and sports clubs are really up to scratch and there is even more to do at the Lake Geneva resort!
The "fun" activities are top notch and holidaymakers of all ages have the time of their lives trying our white-water sports on the Dranse on the outskirts of Thonon.
Rafting on the Dranse
Along the Dranse (a branch of the river feeding into Lake Geneva) is a trail. A guide at the helm of the river boat takes 6 to 8 passengers on a bouncy, exciting and completely safe ride.
Hydrospeed
Armed with a float, flippers and wetsuit, swimming in white water is an incredible way to become one with the river.
Canyoning
Have a go on the river’s top three activities on three half-days: Whitewater rafting, riverboarding and canoeing.
Kayak-raft
You will be captain of your own one-person inflatable boat, a cross between a canoe and a raft. Your guide will be with you throughout your trip to show you the way.
